Happy New Year 2014

Wow, it has been almost two years since I last blogged!! Yep, I feel so lame and very unaccomplished in the blogging realm. I love to write  and compose my thoughts and relish in the memories of what happened days, months or years ago. But, life happens, plans arise and raising a family have taken priority. One of my many goals this year is to be better with blogging and to try to carve some time out to record memories for my children and to share our lives with you.

I am truly excited about the start of  2014!! I know God has big plans for me this year. I pray that my walk with him will be closer and deeper and that my worship go to another level. I find comfort in knowing that God has plans for me and that he knows already what is to come of this year for me. I just have to be patient, seek him more and realize that I can't try to make things happen, because if they are not Gods plans  they will fall apart.

2013 was a great year for my family, it was undoubtedly Gods mercy and grace upon our lives. We found out we were expecting baby 4 in May, we moved into a bigger house, purchased a bigger car and have been thanking God  for the other daily miracles and blessings. I know that it is God who has kept us and lead us through 2013 and I pray that Martin and I continue to put him first and continue to let the Lords guidance prevail in our household.

The girls are so precious and so dear to me, I love being their mother and count it an honor to raise three girls. Isabella is now in 2nd grade and doing great in school. She has a nice  teacher who speaks highly about her and loves how helpful and smart she is. Bella is active in dance, Girls Scout and starts piano lessons soon. Martin and I pray daily for each of our daughters and our prayer for Bella for 2014 is that she learns to walk closer with God, that he opens up her understanding in all areas of school work and that she always appreciates her blessings.

Giselle turned 5 in 2013 and is doing great! She has a November birthday, so she couldn't start Kindergarten this year. But is academically advanced for her age. She is reading at a 1st grade level, learning math facts and can write full sentences. Because she is still in preschool,  her advancement comes from me homeschooling her. It's definitely rewarding to see my 5 year old start to read chapter books, but it is exhausting homeschooling her and Ava. Giselle is also active in sports, she has really taken a liking to gymnastics and is very good. She also started taking lyrical dance class at the dance studio, Bella attends!I pray Giselle will walk closer with God this year, learn to be a better listener and learn to share more.

Ava has had a great 2013 too. She potty trained herself in March, moved out of her crib to a toddler bed and has really matured! I firmly believe this little girl is a destined to be a scientist or mathematician! She loves puzzles, working with numbers and adores figuring things out. Ava started school in 2013 and goes to school once a week. Her teachers speak highly of her and marvelst at how advanced she is for a 2 year old. She can spell her name, write the letter A, she knows letter recognition and can count to 40. I pray Ava will have a great 2014 where God will lead and guide her to learn more about him and Martin and I pray she adjust well to the baby coming next month.
